Tower of Saviors – Update Announcement on Security System (Valid from Sep 2, 2014)

The TOS Team regards fairness of the game as our top priority. Any behaviours affecting fairness such as faking data and using unauthorized applications, including any third-party applications, secondary account application, autoplay and cheats modifying gaming programmes, are unauthorized.

 

The TOS Team has optimized the security system. New security means will be taken since Sep 2, 2014 (Tue) according to the following situations:

 

＊『First attempt』－Warning

For first attempts of rule violations, Summoners will receive a warning message from the system.

 

＊『Second attempt』－Listed as 『Violation Accounts』

After a warning has been given, if Summoners are once again found to be engaged in unauthorized activities affecting fairness of the game, related accounts will be listed as 『Violation Accounts』 and the following penalty will be imposed:

 

Penalties to 『Violation Accounts』:

– the accounts will be blocked in the first 72 hours. Summoners will not be able to enter any stage during the period;

– user names of the accounts will be changed into 『Violation Account』 and are not editable;

– no rewards will be given to 『Violation Accounts』;

– during a Guild Event, Guild Points earned by 『Violation Accounts』 will be cancelled, and no Guild Points will be given even when the specified stage is cleared;

– all leaderboard records will be cancelled and no future record will be shown;

– An independent chat room function will be provided in all rooms.

– all score and record in League Match of 『Multiplayer Mode』 will be cancelled. 『Violation Accounts』 will be ineligible for League Match.

 

After the update, a 『Rehabilitation Mechanism』 has been made available. After the 72-hour blockage, Summoners could recover the 『Violation Accounts』 by completing the followings (the 72-hour blockage is not counted as logged in):

– Login 14 days without engaging in any unauthorized activities;

– Use up all stamina in the 14 login days and clear the stages
(Calculation of stamina: 14 days X 144 stamina, total 2016 stamina)

 

All leaderboard record, score and record in League Match will be cancelled and could not be retrieved.

 

＊『Recidivism』－Permanent Blockage

If Summoners are continuously founded to be engaged in unauthorized activities, related accounts will be blocked permanently.
No compensation will be given for accounts permanently blocked due to involvement in unauthorized activities, including paid content (diamonds).

 

After the the update of security system, Summoners whose devices’ user access to the operation system is modified (including smartphones and tablets rooted or jailbroken) will not be banned. Guild Points earned using the above devices will not be counted separately.

 

Last but not least, the TOS Team would like to remind all Summoners to treasure your account and stop engaging in any unauthorized activities.
