Boss Skills and Common Terms

Starting from v2021.1, the descriptions of Boss Skills will be updated as below.


Basics

Weighting of Runestones Dissolved

  • 1 Runestone = 50%
  • 2 Runestones = 75%
  • 3 Runestones = 100%
  • 4 or more Runestones  = (X-3)*25%+100%
  • Each Enchanted Runestone = +15%

Combo

  • Combo(s) will only be counted after moving a Runestone in the basic spinning phase.
  • No Combo can be made until a Runestone movement is made in the basic spinning phase.
  • For every Combo made, the Attack and Recovery of the Round increase by 25%.

Attack Basic Value 

  • The Character’s Attack Basic Value can be seen by pressing and holding the Character’s icon.

Attack

  • The Character’s value of its attack, which will be affected by other alterations like Combo(s), effects and Skills, etc.
  • Characters with 0 Attack cannot launch attacks.

Damage

  • When Damage is received, a corresponding amount of HP will be deducted.
  • Attack-damage
    • Damage caused by the following effects:
      • Common Attack
      • Extra Attack
      • Recovery surplus Attack
  • Counterattack Damage
    • Damage caused by Counterattack after receiving an attack.
  • Skill Damage
    • All Damage other than Attack-damage and Counterattack Damage.

Recovery

  • Recovery refers to the corresponding amount of HP recovered. 
  • Runestone Recovery 
    • Recovery caused by the specified effect.
    • The specified effect includes:
      • Recovery caused by dissolving Runestones
  • Skill Recovery 
    • All Recovery other than Runestone Recovery

Depletion

  • A corresponding amount of HP will be deducted directly from the target.
  • Depletion is not regarded as Damage.

Enemy’s Counterattack 

  • When the specified condition(s) is not fulfilled and extra attack(s) is caused, it is regarded as Counterattack.

Damage Reduction 

  • The Damage received -X%.
  • When the enemy’s Damage received -100%, the Damage dealt to it will become 0.

Each Round

  • Activate once at the beginning of a stage.
  • Activate again when a Round is over.

Absorption

  • Absorb Damage and convert it to the corresponding amount of HP, Attack and Defense.

Attribute

  • 6 types of Attribute:
    • Water
    • Fire 
    • Earth
    • Light
    • Dark 
    • Non-Attributive

Runestones

  • 6 types of Runestones:
    • Water, Fire, Earth, Light, Dark, Heart
  • Attributive Runestones include:
    • Water, Fire, Earth, Light, Dark
    • Excluding Heart

Skill Related

Possession

  • Effect
    • When X Runestones are dissolved, they will be calculated as Z% of Y Runestones in the Damage calculation phase.

First batch 

  • Definition
    • Runestones dissolved in the first batch after spinning. Runestones dropped and dissolved after that are not regarded as the first batch.

Blank Move 

  • Definition
    • When no Runestones are dissolved in the Round after spinning, it will be regarded as a Blank Move.

 Fatigue State

  • Effect
    • The Character’s Attack becomes 0.

Damage-reducing resistance X%

  • Definition
    • Damage received -X%.

Boss Skill Related

Basic descriptions of common Boss Skills. There may be additional effects to the Skills.

Enchanted Damage Weakening

  • Basic Title
    • Enchanted Damage Weakening
  • Normal Description
    • When Enchanted Attributive Runestones are dissolved, Damage of that Attribute(s) will be lowered to 10%.
  • Disregarding Boss Skills
    • Damage can still be dealt when the condition is not fulfilled.

Crescendo (Hit)  

  • Basic Title
    • Crescendo (Hit) 
  • Normal Description
    • The more times the enemy attacks,
    • the more the enemy’s Attack will increase.
    • When it has attacked for a certain number of times, the enemy attacks twice a Round.

Defense Break

  • Basic Title
    • Defense Break
  • Normal Description
    • The enemy disregards all Damage-reducing and Willpower Skills.

Uncontrollable

  • Basic Title
    • Uncontrollable
  • Normal Description
    • The enemy disregards all Controlling Skills. 

Reduce Moving Time

  • Basic Title
    • Reduce Moving Time
  • Normal Description
    • Runestone-moving time will be reduced to X seconds.

Combo Shield   

  • Basic Title
    • ≥X-Combo Shield
  • Normal Description
    • Damage dealt to the enemy will be 1 unless ≥X Combos are made.
  • Disregarding Boss Skills
    • Damage can still be dealt when the condition is not fulfilled.

Fixed Combo Shield

  • Basic Title
    • Fixed X-Combo ShieldF
  • Normal Description
    • Damage dealt to the enemy will be 1 unless X Combos are made in the first batch.
  • Disregarding Boss Skills
    • Damage can still be dealt when the condition is not fulfilled.

Combo Shield (First Batch) 

  • Basic Title
    • ≥X-Combo Shield (First Batch)
  • Normal Description
    • Damage dealt to the enemy will be 1 unless  ≥X Combos are made in the first batch.
  • Disregarding Boss Skills
    • Damage can still be dealt when the condition is not fulfilled.

Puzzle Shield

  • Basic Title
    • Puzzle Shield (Bounded/Race/Type/Enchanted Runestones) 
      • e.g. Enchanted Water Bounded Puzzle Shield
      • e.g. Dragon Puzzle Shield
      • e.g. Bounded Puzzle Shield of Enemy’s Weakness Attribute
  • Normal Description
    • Damage dealt to the enemy will be 1 unless Runestones are dissolved according to the shape of the frame (Runestones should be dissolved only inside the frame / Runestones can be dissolved together outside the frame).  
  • Disregarding Boss Skills
    • Damage can still be dealt when the condition is not fulfilled.

Runestone Combo Nullifying

  • Basic Title
    •  (Type) Combo Nullifying 
      • Eg: Heart Combo Nullifying
  • Normal Description
    • When X Runestones are dissolved:
    • Team Attack becomes 0.
    • The enemy launches an extra attack for X group(s) of those Runestones dissolved in the first batch.
  • Disregarding Boss Skills
    • Summoner can still attack and Team Attack will not become 0 when the condition is not fulfilled.

Anti-Runestone Shield (First Batch) 

  • Basic Title
    • Anti-(Type) Runestone Shield (First Batch)
      • Eg: Anti-Water Runestone Shield (First Batch)
  • Normal Description
    • If (Type) Runestones are dissolved in the first batch, the enemy receives no Damage.
  • Disregarding Boss Skills
    • Damage can still be dealt when the condition is not fulfilled.

Weathered Runestones

  • Basic Title
    • Weathered Runestones (Type)
  • Normal Description
    • X random Runestones will be weathered. If any Weathered Runestone is touched, Runestone movement will be stopped immediately and a Damage of Y will be dealt to Summoner. (Y = ≥0.)
  • Disregarding Boss Skills
    • The negative state of Weathered Runestones touched will be cleared while moving. No extra Damage will be dealt to Summoner.
    • Summoner receives no Damage and Runestone movement will not be stopped when a Weathered Runestone is touched.
  • Time-related:
    • Weathered Runestones will last over Rounds.

Frozen Runestones (凍結符石)

  • Basic Title
    • Frozen Runestones (Type)
  • Normal Description
    • X random Runestones will be modified to become Frozen Runestones (frosted state) each Round.
    • At the end of the Round, undissolved Frozen Runestones will be glaciated. 
    • Frozen Runestones (glaciated state) cannot be dissolved, turned or exploded for 3 Rounds.
  • Time-related:
    • Frozen Runestones will last over Rounds.

Masked Runestones

  • Basic Title
    • Masked Runestones
  • Normal Description
    • X random runestones will be modified to become Masked Runestones

Masked Path

  • Basic Title
    • Masked Path
  • Normal Description
    • Modify the Runestones touched while moving to become Masked Runestones.

Sticky Land

  • Basic Title
    • Sticky Land 
  • Normal Description
    • Positions of (Type) Runestones will become sticky. If any sticky position is touched, Runestone movement will be stopped immediately.
  • Disregarding Boss Skills
    • Runestone movement will not be stopped when a sticky position is touched

Sombre Marks

  • Basic Title
    • Sombre Marks 虛之印記
  • Normal Description
    • All X Runestones will be imprinted with “Sombre Marks”.
    • “Sombre Mark” Level +1 for each of those Runestones dissolved. 
    •  Summoner will be defeated when the “Sombre Mark” reaches Level 10.
    • “Sombre Marks” and level of power will be reset when Summoner is defeated.

Burning Path

  • Basic Title
    • Burning Path
  • Normal Description
    • When moving Runestones, touched positions would be burned. 
    • Every time when a burned position is touched, 
    • ⇒ Summoner will receive a Damage of X.
  • Disregarding Boss Skills
    • Summoner receives no Damage when touching the burned positions.
    • Damage received when touching the burned positions will become Y.

Burning

  • Basic Title
    • Burning
  • Normal Description
    • 2 random positions will be burned. Every time when a burned position is touched, Y% of / X Summoner’s HP will be deducted.
  • Disregarding Boss Skills
    • Summoner receives no Damage when touching the burned positions.
    • Damage received when touching the burned positions will become Y.

Sticky Path

  • Basic Title
    • Sticky Path
  • Normal Description
    • When moving Runestones, touched Runestones will become sticky.  If any Sticky Runestone is touched, Runestone movement will be stopped immediately.
  • Disregarding Boss Skills
    • Runestone movement will not be stopped when a Sticky Runestone is touched.

B&W Path

  • Basic Title
    • B&W Path
  • Normal Description
    • When moving Runestones, all Runestones touched will be in black and white.

B&W Zone 

  • Basic Title
    • B&W Zone
  • Normal Description
    • All Runestones in the zone will be in black and white.

Crack

  • Basic Title
    • Crack
  • Normal Description
    • X random positions will be cracked. Runestones at the cracked positions cannot be dissolved or exploded.
  • Disregarding Boss Skills
    • Restore all the cracked positions.

Smog 

  • Basic Title
    • Smog
  • Normal Description
    • Emit smog at X random positions each Round.
    • Each time Summoner passes through smog,
    • ⇒ Y% Smog Concentration will be accumulated.
    • When Smog Concentration reaches 100%,
    • ⇒ Summoner will be defeated at the end of the Round.

Initial Shield

  • Basic Title
    • Initial Shield
  • Normal Description
    • The enemy will not receive any Damage until its first Attack.
  • Disregarding Boss Skills
    • All Damage can be dealt as usual.

Bloody Scythe 

  • Basic Title
    • Bloody Scythe
  • Normal Description
    • X% of Summoner‘s HP will be deducted when the enemy attacks (regardless of all Damage-reducing and Willpower Skills).

*Fatal Blow (100% of Summoner‘s HP will be deducted when the enemy attacks) is considered as a kind of Bloody Scythe.

Explosion – Attack+ 

  • Basic Title
    • (Type) Runestone Explosion – Attack+
  • Normal Description
    • The enemy explodes all X Runestones to increase its next Attack each Round.

Overheal

  • Basic Title
    • Overheal
  • Normal Description
    • The enemy’s HP will be deducted as much as the Recovery surplus. The enemy will not receive any Damage other than Recovery surplus Attack.

Skill Lock

  • Basic Title
    • Skill Lock
  • Normal Description
    • At the beginning, Active Skills of all Members will be locked for X Round(s).
  • Disregarding Boss Skills
    • Locked Skills can still be activated.
    • Release locked Skills. 

Metashpere

  • Basic Title
    • (Type) Metasphere
  • Normal Description
    • X positions will be changed into (Type) Metasphere. When the Runestone being held passes through the Metasphere, it will be turned into (Type) Runestone (the Runestones being moved during spinning are not affected).

Runestone Shield

  • Basic Title
    • (Type) Runestone Shield / X-Runestone Shield
  • Normal Description
    • Damage dealt to the enemy will be 1 unless ≥X (Type) Runestones are dissolved cumulatively (regardless of Attribute-altering Skills).

Runestone Shield

  • Basic Title
    • (Type) Runestone Shield
  • Normal Description
    • The enemy only receives Damage when ≥X (Type) Runestones are dissolved cumulatively.

Hit Shield

  • Basic Title
    • X-Hit Shield
  • Normal Description
    • Damage dealt to the enemy will be 1 before it receives Damage for X times in total.
  • Disregarding Boss Skills
    • Damage can still be dealt to the enemy before X hits.

Equal-Combo Shield 

  • Basic Title
    • (Type) Equal-Combo Shield
  • Normal Description
    • The enemy receives Damage only when the same number of (Types) Combos are dissolved in the first batch. If not, the Damage dealt to the enemy will become 1.

(Type) Attack Weakening

  • Basic Title
    • (Y Type) Attack Weakening
  • Normal Description
    • (Type) Damage dealt to the enemy will be lowered to X%.

Non-(Type) Attack Weakening

  • Basic Title
    • Non-(Y Type) Attack Weakening
  • Normal Description
    • Non-(Type) Damage dealt to the enemy will be lowered to X%.

Fatigue

  • Basic Title
    • Fatigue
  • Normal Description
    • For X Round(s), Team Attack lowers to Y%.

Non-Race Attack Weakening

  • Basic Title
    • Non-(Race) Attack Weakening
  • Normal Description
    • Non-(Race) Damage will be lowered to X%.

Race Attack Weakening

  • Basic Title
    • (Race) Attack Weakening
  • Normal Description
    • (Race) Damage will be lowered to X%.

Combo Seal

  • Basic Title
    • Combo Seal
  • Normal Description
    • The enemy only receives Damage when the assigned number of Combos are made. If the condition is fulfilled, the enemy will not attack in the Round; if not, the enemy launches a number of attacks. The number equals the difference between the assigned number and the number of Combos made.
  • Disregarding Boss Skill
    • Damage can be dealt to the enemy when the condition is not fulfilled.

Defensive Shield

  • Basic Title
    • X% Defensive Shield 
  • Normal Description
    • Attack-damage dealt to the enemy each Round will not exceed X% of its total HP.

Poisoning

  • Basic Title
    • Poisoning X%
  • Normal Description
    • The enemy poisons the Summoner, deducting X% of Summoner’s HP every Round after Runestone movement.

Clear Skills & Battle Rounds 

  • Basic Title
    • Clear Skills & Battle Rounds
  • Normal Description
    • At the beginning, Skill CDs and accumulated Rounds of specific Characters will be reset.

Clear Effects & CD 

  • Basic Title
    • Clear Effects & CD 
  • Normal Description
    • At the beginning, all Summoner’s effects in play will be cancelled.

Runestone Number Shield (First Batch)

  • Basic Title
    • X-Runestone Shield (First Batch)
  • Normal Description
    • The enemy receives Damage only when X Runestones are dissolved in the first batch.

Runestones in Disguise

  • Basic Title
    • (Type) Runestones in Disguise
  • Normal Description
    • All X Runestones will be disguised as Y Runestones.
    • Each Type of Runestones will be disguised as Runestones of random types.
  • Disregarding Boss Skills
    • Reveal the true Attribute of Runestones in Disguise.

Damage Shield

  • Basic Title
    • X-Damage Shield
  • Normal Description
    • The enemy receives Damage only from Members with a single Damage that reaches X.

 Recovery Inversion 

  • Basic Title
    •  Recovery Inversion
  • Normal Description
    • HP Recovery by dissolving Heart Runestones or Runestones possessing the effect of Heart Runestones becomes HP deduction. (Recovery buff will not be counted.)

Runestone-turning Skill Nullifying

  • Basic Title
    • Runestone-turning Skill Nullifying
  • Normal Description
    • • All Runestone-turning Skills will be nullified.
