On 13 Jun (Tue) after maintenance, “Philosopher’s Legend – Jabir” will be available for Power Release, which allows it to transform into “Irreplaceable Gift – Cilantro & Jabir”! Summoners may get “Philosopher’s Legend – Jabir” in the “Bladed Conviction” Drawing Machine. The Drawing Machine has a special setting that allows Summoners to select one of the 2 Black-gold characters—“Intrepid Liberator – Caesar” and “Philosopher’s Legend – Jabir”—as their guaranteed card. The selected character will appear for every 40 draws in the Drawing Machine!

TOS Fest 2023 is around the corner! In addition to the usual TOS Fest events, such as Accumulative Login Rewards, Free Draws Every Week, Consecutive Login Rewards and Accumulative Stamina Consumption Awards, there will be a series of new events, including a new Item-collecting mission—“Master the Chessboard”, a new Super Skill character “Twinkling Stratagem – Hei Jiajia”, a new minigame “Finding Liberties”, skill adjustments to specified characters (i.e. “Qing Gui” and “Himiko”), new forgeable Dragonwares for specific characters of the Black-gold series “Genesis” from 13 Jun (Tue) after maintenance to 2 Jul (Sun)!
● New Item-collecting Mission —— Master the Chessboard
There will be a new Item-collecting mission “Master the Chessboard” from 13 Jun (Tue) after maintenance to 25 Jun (Sun)! By clearing specific Go-related event stages, Summoners can get the exclusive Item “TOS Fest Coins” and increase their Go rank. The Item can be used to exchange valuable rewards, including the “TOS Fest 2023” Medal, the 10th-anniversary “Perseverance” personal wallpaper, Remodeling Hammer and Harpy King, etc.!
● Super Skill Character ── Twinkling Stratagem – Hei Jiajia
In the “Master the Chessboard” event, Summoners may tap “The Go Academy” icon in the middle of the Main Map to challenge an event-exclusive stage named “A Game of Crashing Talents”. The stage will have 4 floors, namely Lv.1 to Lv.4, where “Twinkling Stratagem – Hei Jiajia” will make raids on Summoners! The chance of “Twinkling Stratagem – Hei Jiajia” raiding in the floor will increase according to the floor level! There will be a 100% chance that “Twinkling Stratagem – Hei Jiajia” will raid the “A Game of Crashing Talents Lv.4 ” floor!
When “Twinkling Stratagem – Hei Jiajia” is used as a Level-up Material for itself, the accumulated Battle Rounds of the character will increase by 6000 rounds! Summoners can level up the character’s skill level to the maximum with “Twinkling Stratagem – Hei Jiajia” x 32.

● Event Mission ── Minigame “Finding Liberties”
While the “Master the Chessboard” event takes place, there will be a new minigame called “Finding Liberties”! In the minigame, Summoners will have to find the liberties of the black stones! The minigame will include a tutorial and three levels of challenges, namely Easy, Normal and Hard. Fruitful rewards such as Black Keys and “A Decade of Legend- Madhead” will be given to Summoners who clear the minigame for a certain number of times!
| What are Liberties in Go? “Liberties” refers to the unoccupied intersections directly adjacent to a stone on the board. A stone is captured and removed from the board when it loses all its liberties (i.e. surrounded by the enemy stone). Each stone or group of stones must have at least one liberty to survive. Therefore, liberty is a very crucial concept when it comes to playing Go. |
● Quiz Mission ── The Basics of Go
Besides the basic concept of liberty, there are different rules and techniques in Go. To extend Summoners’ knowledge of Go, a special quiz stage called “The Basics of Go” will be open from 13 Jun (Tue) to 25 Jun (Sun). The stage will have 3 levels. Summoners will have to unlock the floors by clearing specific event stages and increasing their Go rank. Summoners will be rewarded with valuable Items and Materials, such as Harpy King, Diamonds and “Twinkling Stratagem – Hei Jiajia” themed personal wallpaper upon clearing the quiz stage for a certain number of times!

On 13 Jun (Tue), there will be some skill adjustments to two limited Black-gold characters— “Jade of Prestige – Qing Gui”/“Howl of Rune Dragon – Qing Gui” and “Queen of Yamatai – Himiko”.

On 13 Jun (Tue), 5 new Dragonwares will be introduced. Summoners may forge the Dragonwares with components and the corresponding “Genesis” series characters (i.e. “Atlantis”, “Pompeii”, “Mesopotamia”, “Maya”, “Anubis”) in the Craft Furnace. Meanwhile, the mentioned characters will also be available for Amelioration!

A new Dark God character, “Monochromatic Library – Hei Jiajia”, will make her debut in the realms with a new Ultimate stage called “A Space of Black and White” on 14 Jun (Wed)!
