● Item-collecting Mission ── One Encounter One Chance

Starting from 20 May (Mon) to 16 Jun (Sun), there will be a new Item-collecting Mission titled “One Encounter One Chance” in the realms! By clearing the event stages, Summoners will receive a special item “Go Game Record”, which can be used to redeem valuable rewards, such as the event exclusive Medal “Advanced Move” and a special wallpaper featuring “Hei Jiajia”, in the “Go Training Shop”!

● Special Event ── New Minigame “Mastering Atari”

Meanwhile, there will be a new minigame, “Mastering Atari”, in which “Hei Jiajia” will teach Summoners how to capture stones! The minigame will include different difficulty levels, namely Tutorial, Easy, Normal, and Play A Game.

※ What is Atari in Go?

In the game of Go, Atari refers to a situation where a stone or a group of stones is in immediate danger of being captured by the opponent on the next move. When a stone or group is in Atari, it means that it has only one liberty (an empty adjacent intersection) left, and if the player fails to attain additional liberties, the stone or group will be captured. 

Capturing your opponent’s stones serves two purposes: to expand your territory and reduce your opponent’s territory. In general, to successfully capture a stone, you must surround the stone by playing on all of its liberties, only then can the stone be removed from the Go board.

● Challenge Stage ── A Hunting Game on the Chessboard

“Thorny Siege – Hei Jiajia”, a new Fire Demon, will make her debut in the realms with a new Challenge Stage called “A Hunting Game on the Chessboard” on 20 May (Mon). Summoners can get “Thorny Siege – Hei Jiajia” x1 every time they clear the stage!

● Summoner’s Secret Base New Character “Hei Jiajia” and New Furniture

A new character, “Hei Jiajia”, and a new furniture series will be added to the Summoner’s Secret Base on 20 May (Mon). Summoners can get the new character simply by consuming 2,000pt Stamina between 20 May (Mon) and 31 Dec (Tue)!

● TOS Battle Pass ── An Incredibly Adorable Accident

The next TOS Battle Pass event, “An Incredibly Adorable Accident”, will start on 20 May (Mon) at noon. The event will last for 4 weeks until 16 Jun (Sun). During the event, Summoners can earn EXP to increase their “TOS Battle Pass” levels and get valuable rewards, for example, Stele of Beast x10 and “Chivalrous Kitten – Zero”, by completing the Battle Pass missions.

● Unlock TOS Battle Pass Premium and Get More Rewards

Besides completing the Battle Pass missions to get the free rewards, Summoners may also purchase the TOS Battle Pass gift pack to unlock the premium rewards. Summoners can get different rare rewards─ “Chivalrous Kitten – Zero” (DUAL MAX) x1, new icon frame, “Bandit Kitten – Zero” (exclusive outfit of “Chivalrous Kitten – Zero”), Stele of Beast x30 and a Water Beast-exclusive Dragonware “Spiked Bells Bubble”─when their “TOS Battle Pass” levels reach Lv. 1, Lv.10, Lv.25, Lv. 40 and Lv. 50 respectively.

* The brand new character “Chivalrous Kitten – Zero”, “Chivalrous Kitten” icon frame, and the new Dragonware “【7353】Spiked Bells Bubble” cannot be obtained through other events or methods in the year.
