Level Up

Characters gain EXP by clearing stages, but you can also level them up using Level-Up Materials.

By default, the game recommends materials with the same Attribute as your selected character. You can tap Show All to view materials of all Attributes.

To make leveling easier, you can use the To Lv. Max button at the bottom. The game will automatically select materials from your inventory to raise the character to its maximum level.

You can also choose materials manually.
After selecting a material, tap the MAX button, and the game will automatically calculate and select the number of that material needed to reach the character’s maximum level.

Skill Level Up

A character’s Skill Level determines the Skill CD of their Active Skill(s). The higher the Skill Level, the lower the Skill CD. You can increase Skill Level through battle or by using certain materials.

Using duplicate copies of a character as Level-Up Materials grants additional Skill EXP. We highly recommend making the most of your duplicate copies to raise the character’s Skill Level more efficiently.

Evolve

Once a character reaches the maximum level, you can use the required Evolution Materials to evolve them into a stronger form. Evolution may also upgrade their Active Skill, Leader Skill, or both.

After Evolution, the character returns to Level 1, so you’ll need to level it up again to unlock its full potential.

※ For more information about Level-Up / Evolution Materials, please refer to Level-Up Materials.

Amelioration

Certain characters can grow even stronger through Amelioration.
Amelioration has four stages: I, II, III, and IV.
You can check a character’s Amelioration progress on their character screen.

Ameliorating a character requires Souls and Stamina to begin an Amelioration Battle. Each time you clear the battle, the character advances by one Amelioration level and gains new abilities.

You can also select Quick Amelioration and spend extra Souls to skip the story and battle, instantly raising the character to Amelioration IV.

You can obtain Souls from the following sources:
1. Decomposing characters from a Diamond Seal series or the “The Essence of Spirits” series.
2. Clearing the Material Stage “Day of Souls”
3. Clearing Main Story Stages.
4. Clearing Resource Stages in the Black Hole.

Ascension

Once a character reaches Dual Max (i.e., maximum Level and maximum Skill Level), you can further strengthen them through Ascension.

Note: Ascension is only available for characters in your Character Inventory. This feature does not apply to characters stored in the Material Inventory and Summoners (e.g., Enoch and Shroy).

You can use Orbs to raise a character’s maximum Level through Ascension, up to a total increase of 20 Levels. Each increase also boosts the character’s HP, Attack, and Recovery.

You can obtain Orbs from event stages, event exchanges, the Arena, Stage Achievement rewards, and by exchanging characters from a Diamond Seal series in the Elemental Shop.
